both of our cats mitten and bitty have a word that we say when they are bad devil kittys, "no bite!" and they know it.they just stop doing what theyre doing, and be good.

My kitty Bubby fits this MO purrfectly - he can be sweet for short amounts of time but mostly he is all teeth and claws when any one gets near him - he is a red tabby or i guess he is really orange with white shirt and toes - very dapper looking fellow but no great manners

my daughter raised him from a 6 weeks old for a couple years and didnt want him to like me better so she kept him isolated from others and ruined a good cat - i took Bubby in after she moved away and i thought he was never gonna quit attacking me and my other cats but slowly he is no longer jumping at me but he still bites if i pet him after he has had enough - i guess with this particular "Devil Kitty" more time is needed to build trust back in his life.

for some reason, our cat mitten is exactly that way with my boyfriend. but, once she wants something, like food or water, or to go outside, shes right there giving us all the lovins in the world.
