I love Maine Coos too. My first cat was a Maine Coon. And I have one now named Summer In May She will be nine.

The cat below is Simon.  He was born in May 2007 and is my constant companion, although he's not a lap kitty.

I would love to share a pix of Nicky, but haven't been able to find one. My sis took all our pix and cut them up and made collages when she was 14-16. I think they may have gone that way. He was a gorgeous kitten.

I would love to see a pic of Nicky.. I also have a cat that went feral starting about 3 mo. after she was spayed. as long as I don't touch her she is a good cat. Never fusses, or fights with sisters and brothers.

My Maine Coon was name Nicodemus, Nicky or mostly just Cat. He went feral at age 2. He was 22 lbs when he left. He was at least 25-26 2 yrs later when I saw him last. We couldn't afford to feed him, so he left. :( He'll always be my greatest friend. I could never understand why he picked me to be his pre-teenager. My sister smothered him, I got that, but never got why he wanted to be next to me all the time. I know now of course. I was his. He decided at some point and that was it. I miss him, but it makes me smile to think about him.

The below pic is my Maine coon, Bodi (Big Boy's Bodacious Bandicoon-his full name), he is cleaning his feet. I call this the 'stinky foot' pic! He was recently diagnosed with epilepsy, about 3 days ago, today is (10-01-2011). But the meds seem to have brought him back to his old self. I am happy that he is thriving and will be ok now. :)
