- The Chartreux is a singularly loyal cat . . . intelligent to a fault, a silent communicator extraordinaire, and wholly devoted to the one purrrrson of their choice, unconditionally loving and loyal.

- My number one child is PIXIE the silver chartreux, the MOST intelligent cat I've ever met, and queen of the roost at 8 years, despite many physical challenges. SISSY is the household beauty queen, being the 6~year old tricolor Turkish Van moggie with the sweet, feminine Rebecca~of~Sunnybrook~Farm face and personality, and the courage of a warrior cat. Her brother, CHAMPIE, has an elegantly sleek and shiny black coat, and at 22 pounds, is the meek child of the household, being the loving, clinging vine who needs nothing more than every ounce of love (and food) he can get. MIRABELLE was rescued in 4/2010 as a traumatized blue point siamese mix, and as the baby of the family, is now mostly recovered and utterly spoiled ~ our little "Chatty Cathy" is the vocalist of the family. SWEETPEA is a neighborhood feral who, when captured to be spayed, was found to be pregnant. We let her have her FIVE little bundles of joy ~ Peter, Penelope, Pirate, Patches and Punkin ~ who altogether comprise the "Sweetpea and the Little Peas" Family. The kittens are now weaning at 4 weeks old, so Sweetpea will soon be spayed.
