I just gave away 2 of the 4 kittens I rescued a couple months ago. I am a mess over it, I am crying and I feel like I did the wrong thing. I hate to be this way but I am worried about the people that I gave them to, they just didnt seem like people I would trust to take care of them right. - My 3 indoor cats are; Tuesday, spayed female 2 1/2 yrs old... Mikey, neutered male 2 yrs old... and Billie, spayed female 1 1/2 yrs old... Tuesday is a sleek and prissy dark brown and grayish tabby. her fave activities are rubbing against mommas chin and dipping her Meow Mix in the water dish. Mikey is a big and tall cream and white tabby (about 13 pounds of tabby), his fave activities are begging for food and waiting for the lights to go out so he can curl up beside me. And Biliie is a small and round cream and white scaredy-cat. Her fave activities are crawling under the blankets only to turn around and fight her way back out and running, as if from a bomb, everytime she sees feet coming her way. All 3 enjoy fake mice which they destroy faster than I can replenish and waiting until I finally fall asleep at 3 am and then launching themselves off of my skull while trying to kill each other. Our shared activities include walks and naps in the sunshine and laser lights :)
I now also have lil Rocket here with us!

One of the kittens died, or rather is dying now. I have been checking on the kittens outside of my house every night and they seemed to be doing good. Tonight it was a bit colder and it stormed. I didnt even want to go out and look at them but I finally did about an hour ago. Well, Im turning to u guys because I need all the support I can get. When I went out I knew it was bad. OK update on the stuck cat situation... shes out and im covered in insulation (itchy- eww)... i waited a while and then went back and i had to coax her and talk her through it but finally she came out on her own mostly. its a good thing me and that child communicate so well... lol im off to take a shower now. i can feel myself breaking out from the dust and insulation.
btw... does anyone else have any crazy stories about sticky cat situations??

ok... so when u have 4 cats there is always some drama surrounding one of them right??? this is the way it seems for me anyways... it was just 3 days ago when tues climbed in the dryer when i wasnt looking and when i started it she was still in it. luckily i realized within 30 secs but i cried for an hour cuz it scared me so bad. i held her like that whole day cuz i felt so horrible.... sadly that is the 2nd time!!! that has happened to me.

Carmen said… Thanks for the kind words. I am so sorry that your cat was put down on the same day as your mother's passing. That really has to be hard. Our little family is coming along. I guess I cried too much before he went. I am just remembering the good times he gave us. I have had the best cats ever. They are so loving and affectionate. I have a lot of pictures of all my cats; wonderful memories as well. It's all good.
