Healing from Eye Infection
Took this picture over the weekend. Milo's eye is starting to heal. In this pic his eye still looks swollen. Right now he's still a bit squinty but, his eye is not as swollen. The antibiotics are working! :) ... Hope he recovers quick! Thanks to…

- Milo is my new little kitten. My husband found him scared to death across the street at my neighbors. We think he was around 5-6 weeks old. He cried and cried till my husband picked him up. My hubby then brought him straight home to me. We immediately took him in and claimed him for our own. Milo is a color-point short-hair and he is such a sweetheart!
4 1/2 years ago my gray tabby who I named Kitty passed away from a brain lesion. He was 18 years old. I had Kitty since I was 12 years old. He at first went blind at the age of 16, his kidney's then started failing, which then led to seizures. He began having seziers about every 15-20 minutes. That's when the vet said that he developed a brain lesion and that there was nothing more that they could do. It was extremely hard to lose Kitty. When Kitty was 11 years old I became a proud pet parent to a bombay kitten who I named Little One. One year ago on June 25th I lost my 11 year old bombay to bone cancer. It has been very lonely without her companionship. As she did take on some of Kitty's personality along with her sweetness. I still think of her often. I am now truly convinced that God sent me Milo one year after Little One's passing, to fill my void and develop a new relationship with a wonderful little sweetheart of a kitten. Thank you Lord! :)

Chewing Problems

So, last year I decided not to put a Christmas tree up due to the fact that Milo was so small and I knew he would climb the tree. This year, I am still debating on whether or not to put it up for that same reason plus Milo has a bad habit of chewing on everything. And, yes he does like to chew on cords no matter how many times I have told him no, put that critter cord stuff around the cords he still chews! Well, I took Milo to the vet's Saturday for his yearly shots. It literally scared the crap right out of him. :( Broke my heart. Very disappointed in my vet. She claimed she cleaned him up real good but, that wasn't the case. I was very upset with this. Milo was so scared he growled and tried to attack even me! Once I got him home I tried my best to bathe him myself but, had to yell at the hubby to come help. Poor baby had poo starting to matte in his tail. I had to get him cleaned up. He was…

In honor of Pet Parents Day I thought I would share with you Milo's morning routine.
1) Anywhere from 11:30 p.m.-4:00 a.m. a cup is knocked over into the bathroom sink, or he plays with one of the rugs until one of us wakes up to feed him. This morning the hubby had to! haha ... I guess I'm getting use to it. I never heard him this morning. ;) ...

Milo was neutered back in September 2011. He will be 9 months old January 30th. He is however I think trying to (and excuse me for saying it this way), hump either my leg or arm.
He's not aggressive about it he starts out as play but acts a little odd with little nibble bites and grabbing on. I always put a stop to it and set him on the floor and say no firmly ... then try to distract him with a toy. I don't ever remember my older cat doing this after being neutered. However, that was…
