Anyone who knows my name also knows I am the author of several cat care books that have won awards, a certified cat behaviorist and rehabilitate feral cats.

Well, I am working on a new book (several new books actually, but only one that's cat stories) and I could use your help in choosing a name for the book.

Even though editors always change the titles of my books, this book is the first that I have ever put out on my own without going through the "proper" channels. That means I get to choose my own title.

The book will be a collection of true stories about the cats I have rescued and/or fostered.

Two titles have been in the works, and I be-bopped the titles around the Christmas party at my aunt's house today for some opinions. Now I need a general public consensus.

The 2 title are: Feline Fosters and Ferals or Rescuing Cats. One is kind of a fancy play on words and the simple and to the point.

Opinions?

I think that title is a very good one for your book...

Thanks for all your suggestions... I decided on this title:

Cat Rescue!

True Tales of Feline Fosters and Ferals

Tell me what you all think.

The comment that Sandra made about another great title "Into Loving Arms...."

The first title caught my eye...It adds pzazz to this book...It's a book I would very much want to read when you finish writing it...

I personally just like the first name better, Feline Fosters and Ferals. It just sounds more appealing to me because of the alliteration.

I'm somewhat open, but I want to keep the title fairly short and to the point. But I was thinking "Rescuing Cats" sounds too much like a book ABOUT rescuing cats and this one is true stories of the fosters, ferals and rescues that have come into my life through the years. It's mostly pictures, so not a lot of words in the title would be preferred. You can find all my books through Amazon (though I don't know if my book Indoor Cats is still available or not. You should have no trouble finding House Cat and Your Outta Control Cat.

Are those the two titles you're thinking of - or are you open to other suggestions?  ... something like "Into Loving Arms: Cats Rescued from the Edge" ... (meaning edge of death, edge of society, whatever)...

Just thinking out loud...  what are some of the titles you have out now?
