That's great news Tammie! Don't think you're being over protective! That just means you care and love Boo a lot! When in doubt, get them checked out! We are parents of cats .. they can't speak and tell us what is going on or how they feel .. so we use our best judgement by watching their behaviors, eating habits, drinking, bathroom habits and so on and we know when they aren't themselves and just as with a human child, we take them to the dr to be on the safe side!
Keep up the good job on being a mommy to a 4-legged child!

just had boo back to the vet....mainly because i'm paranoid.  we couldn't find any urine in her shredded paper littler box.  dr. checked her bladder, said it was small, so she was urinating, even if it wasn't in her box...(oh, boy).  she definitely, though needed to have a bowel movement, even though she's had a small one in the last day.  ok....so far, so good.  we will just have to find out where she is peeing.  to make a long story short....when we put the shredded paper in the box, we took an empty box, put in regular litter (just a scoop), a plastic liner, then poked a couple holes in the side of the plastic (so she would smell it when she stepped in it), then the paper.  turns out, she managed to pull at the hole on the side and somehow urinated in that hole, and it went right into the litter underneath.  i was soooo happy!!!  she's doing just fine and the dr. gave me the ok to let her go back to her regular litter.  took her all of about 20 seconds to bless it!! LOL!!  guess i'm a little over protective...she is though....one of my children.  what else would you expect from a mom!! :)

Sometimes, it takes a couple days for the meds to wear off from surgery and for discomfort to subside. Good to hear she is feeling better. It's downhill from here. Keep an eye out for infection for about a week but that's pretty rare. She should be just fine now.

it is now sunday morning and still....she has not urinated.  if she doesn't do anything today, she will have to go back to the vet tomorrow.  she seems happy, is drinking and eating, but i'm worried.  any advice would be appreciated.
