We are out in the country cottage today in West Hampton Bay and it's been chilly out all weekend. When we got here Friday night, the tide had come in quite high and thought we would be flooded in without food. But alas, we four felines were treated to a purrfectly fabulous meal of lean pork belly and sardines in olive oil and have been alternately bird watching from our lovely bay window and cat napping by the fire today. Meisiekind was an alone cat for 3 years, maybe that is what is making it so difficult for her. The other problem she thinks everything smaller than her is something she can catch! I'm afraid that she will hurt the kitten! AM I just stupid with that assumption? She got really thin these past weeks, because she came less home than usual! I make big fuss of her when she does come and that seems to help
